A few choice words

Yeah yeah, it's been a while. Get over it. Boaz is officially 1 yr old having celebrated his second birthday on March 8th, 2010. Don't congratulate Jordan on his son's first birthday because he will remind you that his first birthday was actual day of his birth, and this last one was his second.

I will be posting pictures from his Martial Arts birthday party shortly. They are on my facebook page so it would be easier for all of us if those of you that remain sans facebook would kindly crawl out of the dark ages and join.

December Randomness

We spent Christmas eve and morning with the Millions, and the day and a couple afterward with the Goldens. It was sooo much fun. We spent some of the eve at a petting Zoo near Jordan's sister's (Angi's) house. That's where these pictures are taken. We also got to meet Asher's cousins on his dad's (Peter's) side. You'll see Noah and Kate showcasing their cuteness alongside Asher and Boaz.

We had a great Christmas. It was so great in fact, that I have few pictures to show for it. I'm realizing that I used to be a crazy picture-taker, but now that Boaz tends to want mommy most of the time, I find my hands full. I'm sure once he begins walking I'll pick that camera up again.

And, speaking of Boaz walking, he's beginning to stand unassisted for a few seconds at a time. He is thrilled when he realizes that no one is holding him. So, I'm sure that "he's walking" post isn't too far off. I'm willing to bet he'll walk by his birthday. I guess most boys average about 13 months. But super kick ass rock star boys tend to beat that mark, so we'll see which type of boy Boaz declares himself to be.

Elf is his favorite movie, so he begged GoGo to make him an elf costume.

He likes it so much, he can't help but dance. Not a very long video, but we must share a glimpse of Boaz, the Elf.

The Boaz Dance

Boaz has a new dance move. It used to just be the head tilt/shoulder sway, but now we've added the hand wave. He combined his two killer acts: waving and dancing into one genius concoction that is sure to impress Millions... and Goldens.

My little Narcissus

This is a daily (or at least biweekly) occurrence. Boaz really likes that cute baby he keeps seeing in our closet, but he can never find him. He keeps trying to make contact. I just can't think of why he'd be so interested in him. Perhaps it's the mystery of who he is, or how he always manages to disappear just when he thinks he's got him.

9 months and dancing. Took him long enough.

Just in case you were wondering what he's looking at behind me, it's the windows media player laser/light show that is on the screen whenever WMP plays a song. It's mesmerizing.

He's Crawling!

This child has been crawling backwards for at least three weeks. I thought that maybe it was just the direction he'd chosen in life, and it was time for us all to get used to it. But, as of earlier this week, the boy is going along with the crowd! Hasn't taken him long to perfect his new skill either, he's all over the place and it's pretty cute.
