Boaz Specs and some Tahoe

Just remembering turtle old man Boaz for funzies
Wow, that baby has filled out!
Thiiiiiiighs!
Happiness is behind you
Looking good in terrycloth
This picture really accentuates his double chin

So, at 6 months:

4 shots today! 3 Vaccines and a flu shot. SO sad, but tonight has been better than the night after his 4 month appt (he was super fussy after his 4 month vaccines). But, they are always impressed at how quickly he recovers after they give him the shots, he's quite the tough boy.
He weighs 19 lbs 4oz, which is the 80th percentile, 26 inches (although I noticed the nurse didn't straighten him out enough b/c he wanted to bend those legs), and his head is 18 inches (93rd percentile, there's those Million genes). I was really hoping we could boast 20 lbs, but I'll take almost 20.
New skills:
eating solids (well... purees), smelly farts/poops, rolling from front to back, doing push-ups, staying on his hands a knees for a few seconds and sometimes even rocking back and forth, sitting up by himself (although he will face-plant if you leave him alone and he reaches for something he likes), passing objects from one hand to another, screaming at the dogs, drinking from a sippy-cup, and scooting backwards and/or in circles.
I'm sure there will be a "he's crawling!" update soon enough. I'm excited, but I'm sure the one after it will read, "Michelle is exhausted and wishes Boaz was still immobile." Ah, the boy is growing up. But, WOW he keeps getting cuter and more fun (if you don't believe me, refer to older posts of old man turtle boaz).

6 months already

Sorry it's been a while. There are many updates to be made, but we took most of the pictures on GrandBob and Janma's camera. Soooo, until we get those, here is a video of Boaz eating.
He started solids about a week ago. So far, he's had rice cereal (above), bananas, applesauce, and sweet potatoes. He hates most of it. Sweet potatoes actually caused what I would characterize as a SEVERE gag. And I even made it at home and mashed them myself! Maybe that's the problem. He might be his father's son and ONLY like processed food. Rice cereal mixed with applesauce is acceptable, and that's about it.
So, enjoy this. Soon we will have pictures from Lake Tahoe and more from Arizona. And, we're off to his 6mo appt with his ped so I'll give you his spec's next post.
